Egypt Strengthens Its Position as a Global Hub for CX and Digital Outsourcing Services
Foundever, a global leader in customer experience (CX) services, announced the outcomes of a high-level strategic meeting with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), reaffirming its long-term commitment to supporting Egypt’s digital economy and expanding its operations nationwide.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Eng. Raafat Hendy, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Ahmed El Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, and senior officials from both entities, along with Foundever representatives.
Strategic Partnership to Expand Egypt’s Outsourcing and Digital Services Sector
The discussions focused on Foundever’s rapid expansion in Egypt and its role in advancing the country’s vision to become a global hub for outsourcing, multilingual customer experience services, digital transformation, and AI-enabled operations.
This cooperation builds on the previously signed MoU with ITIDA, which established a framework for accelerating investment and strengthening institutional collaboration in Egypt’s ICT sector.
Major Expansion Plans in Giza and Upper Egypt
Foundever reported that its workforce in Egypt has reached approximately 2,700 employees across its operations in Maadi, Nasr City, and Luxor, reflecting strong growth and confidence in Egyptian talent.
The company announced plans to increase its workforce in Luxor to 1,000 employees by next quarter, in addition to establishing a new operational hub in Giza, further expanding its geographic footprint and supporting development in Upper Egypt.
Government Commitment to Enabling Investment in ICT
The Minister of Communications and Information Technology emphasized Egypt’s commitment to creating a competitive investment environment through continuous development of digital infrastructure, talent programs, and supportive policies for global companies.
ITIDA leadership reaffirmed that Foundever is a strategic partner in Egypt’s national strategy to position the country as a leading destination for IT outsourcing and global business services.
AI-Driven Transformation and Innovation Strategy
Foundever highlighted its transformation from a traditional BPO provider into a technology-enabled CX company powered by artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and digital innovation.
The company also showcased its AI Center of Excellence in Barcelona, which includes Egyptian AI developers contributing to global innovation initiatives, along with plans to launch its proprietary AI platform, AgentTech AI, designed to enhance operational performance and customer engagement.
Talent Development and Social Impact Programs
Foundever outlined its collaboration with ITIDA through the “Train to Hire” initiative, alongside its Language Academy in Cairo and Luxor, which aims to prepare young talent for multilingual customer experience roles.
The company also highlighted its “Freelance Mama” CSR program, which has empowered more than 250 women by providing digital and freelancing skills, enabling flexible work opportunities and supporting financial inclusion.

Eng. Ahmed El Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, stated that Foundever’s continued expansion reflects growing global confidence in Egypt’s outsourcing ecosystem and highly skilled workforce.
He added that Egypt continues to attract foreign investment through targeted training programs designed to meet the global demand for multilingual digital talent.
