Arkania Developments expands hospitality investment in New Mansoura City
Arkania Developments has announced the launch of hotel units in its “New Mansoura Hotel” project located in New Mansoura City, as part of the company’s strategy to deliver specialized real estate products that address actual market demand and support the Egyptian government’s vision for boosting the hospitality and tourism sector in new urban communities.
Growing demand for hotel units in New Mansoura City
Eng. Ashraf Moustafa, Chairman of Arkania Developments, stated that the company’s decision to expand the hotel component within the project came after conducting comprehensive market studies, which revealed a significant gap between the existing supply and the expected demand for hotel units in New Mansoura City.
He explained that the current market supply covers less than 20% of the anticipated demand over the coming years, highlighting the strong investment potential of the hospitality sector in the city.
Universities and urban expansion drive hospitality sector growth
Moustafa added that New Mansoura City is witnessing rapid growth, supported by the presence of nearly five universities, including three operational universities and two currently under development. This expansion is expected to generate increasing demand for hotel accommodation from faculty members, visitors, students, and their families, in addition to professionals working in administrative, medical, and investment projects across the city.
He noted that the “New Mansoura Hotel” project represents an extension of the company’s original vision, as the development was initially launched under the name “New Mansoura Mall” as a mixed-use commercial and hospitality project. However, recent market research highlighted the importance of strengthening the hospitality component to better align with current and future market requirements.

The Chairman emphasized that the Egyptian government is prioritizing the expansion of hotel developments to support urban and tourism development plans in new cities, which encouraged Arkania Developments to increase its investments in the promising hospitality real estate sector.
He further explained that the company relies heavily on detailed marketing and analytical studies before launching any project, ensuring the delivery of real estate products that genuinely meet customer needs while maximizing investment returns.
Moustafa added that the “New Mansoura Hotel” project offers strong investment opportunities for clients interested in hospitality real estate, especially given the city’s expected growth in the coming years. Project delivery scheduled for Q4 2027
According to Moustafa, Arkania Developments aims to complete and deliver the “New Mansoura Hotel” project by the fourth quarter of 2027, in line with the highest standards of quality and modern hotel operations, reinforcing the project’s position as one of the leading hospitality developments in New Mansoura City.
