ITIDA and JICA Partnership Drives Global Expansion

Egypt’s participation comes under the Project NINJA (Next Innovation with Japan) initiative, a strategic collaboration between ITIDA and JICA aimed at empowering startups to scale globally.

The program focuses on connecting Egyptian startups with international innovation ecosystems, facilitating access to investment opportunities, and positioning Egypt as a regional hub for technology, digital services, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship.

Strategic Investment Opportunities and B2B Engagements

As part of the official exhibition agenda, Egyptian startups are actively engaging in B2B meetings and investment sessions with Japanese and international investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions.

These interactions are expected to unlock strategic partnerships, accelerate business growth, and strengthen economic and technological ties between Egypt and Japan.

Commenting on the participation, Eng. Ahmed Elzaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized that Egypt’s debut at SusHi Tech Tokyo represents a critical step toward expanding into Asian markets—particularly Japan, one of the most advanced and high-value global markets. He highlighted the initiative’s role in connecting innovative Egyptian startups with global investors and enabling scalable international growth.
