LG to Unveil AI‑Powered In‑Vehicle Solutions at CES 2026, Winning CES Best of Innovation Award

LG Electronics will debut an immersive experiential space at CES 2026 showcasing its future mobility vision built on “Affectionate Intelligence.” Visitors will sit in a fully reimagined cabin—driver, front‑passenger and rear seats—where AI reshapes every ride into a more intuitive, human‑centered experience. The new suite of solutions has earned the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in In‑Vehicle Entertainment, the first win for LG Vehicle Solution Company in this category.

The showcase centers on three flagship solutions: *Mobility Display Solution*, which turns the windshield into a transparent OLED interface displaying essential information like traffic‑signal countdowns and virtual scenery; *Automotive Vision Solution*, an advanced in‑cabin sensing system that tracks gaze, gestures, clothing color and attention to deliver context‑aware safety alerts and personalized content; and *In‑Vehicle Entertainment Solution*, offering memory‑based media, real‑time translation and AI‑curated entertainment that syncs with external scenery and supports video calls.

In the Mobility Display zone, AI overlays data directly onto the windshield—showing wait times above signals and transforming a dull tunnel into a lush forest of cherry‑blossom petals during autonomous mode. The Automotive Vision Solution uses eye‑tracking and gesture control to expand interest‑based information, while anamorphic graphics boost realism; for example, a passenger glancing at a building ad triggers related product details on their display. The Entertainment Solution recognizes outside landmarks and projects linked photos onto the window, recommends personalized content for long trips, and even translates sign‑language gestures into on‑screen text for seamless communication.

“Our future mobility vision comes alive by embedding AI across all our solutions—many already in production with global OEMs,” said Eun Seok‑hyun, President of LG Vehicle Solution Company. “Accelerating these innovations to market positions us to lead the era of AI‑driven vehicles.”

The LG AI‑Powered In‑Vehicle Solutions will be on display at booth #15004, Las Vegas Convention Center, Jan 6‑9, 2026. For more information, visit (link unavailable). ¹ ²

LG Beats Market Expectations in Q3 2025 with Record Vehicle Solutions Performance

LG Electronics announced its preliminary Q3 2025 earnings with KRW 21.88 trillion

in revenue and KRW 688.9 billion in operating profit, surpassing market forecasts thanks

to strong performance in vehicle solutions, home appliances, and subscription services

Q3 2025 Highlights: Revenue and Profit Beat Market Forecasts

LG Electronics Inc (LG) has announced its preliminary earnings for the third quarter of 2025

reporting consolidated revenue of KRW 21.88 trillion and operating profit of KRW 688.9 billion

Despite facing external challenges such as rising U S tariffs, both figures outperformed market

expectations Revenue marked the second-highest Q3 performance in LG’s history, while operating

profit exceeded recent forecasts by over 10% However, operating profit declined year-on-year due

to non-recurring factors, including increased tariff-related costs amid shifting global trade dynamics

Vehicle Solutions and Home Appliances Drive LG’s Growth

ability to outperform market expectations was largely driven by robust performance

in key and future-oriented segments, particularly its vehicle solutions and home appliance businesses

The vehicle solutions division is expected to have achieved record profitability, driven by strong demand

for premium in-vehicle infotainment systems This contributed to improved operating margins, while the

business continues expanding its portfolio into vehicle content platforms beyond traditional hardware

Meanwhile, the home appliance business maintained its leadership in the premium segment despite

continued tariff pressure on U S exports and sluggish global demand recovery. This stability was supported

by optimized production, efficient resource allocation, and ongoing growth in subscription-based appliance

services a key pillar of LG’s non-hardware platform expansion

Strengthening B2B and Subscription Services for Sustainable Growth

LG continues to reinforce its business fundamentals through a strategic focus on qualitative growth

emphasizing B2B operations such as HVAC solutions and vehicle systems The company is also expanding

non-hardware platforms, including its appliance subscription model and webOS smart TV platform, which

are gaining traction in the global market In addition, the upcoming IPO of LG Electronics India Limited

is expected to provide substantial funding to accelerate structural improvements and support long-term

growth initiatives

webOS Platform and Global South Expansion

The media and entertainment division faced increased marketing expenses due to intensifying

competition in the global TV market LG plans to enhance the competitiveness of its webOS platform

by growing its advertising capabilities and expanding its digital content offerings

The company is also focusing on the Global South, where demand for televisions remains relatively

stable, offering new opportunities for market penetration and revenue diversification

Eco Solutions Business: A Strategic Growth Engine

LG’s eco solutions business is rapidly expanding into future-focused markets, including commercial

HVAC systems, industrial chillers, and power plant cooling technologies The company has secured

major projects involving AI-powered data center cooling in North America, Latin America, the Middle

East, and Asia LG is also preparing to commercialize next-generation liquid cooling solutions

for data centers, a technology expected to play a major role in future business expansion and

long-term growth

Final Earnings and Division Details to Be Announced

These results represent preliminary consolidated earnings based on Korean International

Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and are provided as an investor service Net profit figures

and detailed performance by division will be officially released later this month

A Promising Outlook for LG Electronics

Despite global headwinds, LG Electronics Q3 2025 performance reflects the company’s strategic

agility and strength in innovative, future-oriented businesses With solid foundations in vehicle

solutions, home appliances, and subscription-based services, LG is well-positioned for continued

growth in the evolving global tech landscape

LG

LG Introduces Green Manufacturing Innovations in Commercial Air Conditioners

LG Electronics has unveiled a new, environmentally conscious manufacturing process for its 4-way system air conditioners, as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability and its “Better Life for All” ESG vision.

.This move supports LG’s long-term goals for reducing carbon emissions and plastic usage across its production lines

Significant Cut in CO₂ Emissions Confirmed by TÜV Rheinland

Global testing and certification leader TÜV Rheinland has verified that LG’s upgraded production process lowers carbon emissions to just 14.85 kg of CO₂ equivalents per unit for its 4-way system air conditioners.

.The drop is largely attributed to a new exterior panel material and an advanced foaming injection molding technique

LG

Eco-Conscious Materials: Polypropylene Replaces ABS

In a key move toward greener production, LG replaced traditional Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) plastic with Polypropylene (PP), which carries a lower carbon footprint.

The company also introduced foaming injection molding, where nitrogen gas is injected to form internal bubbles, cutting plastic use by approximately 900 grams per unit.

:These innovations are projected to save

270 tons of plastic annually

Over 4,400 tons of CO₂ equivalent emissions per year

Equivalent to the CO₂ absorbed in one year by a 30-year-old pine forest covering 580+ soccer fields

Sustainable Production Begins with 4-Way System Models

.LG began applying its eco-friendly foaming technique to 4-way system air conditioners in June 2025

.The company has announced plans to gradually expand this process to other residential and commercial air conditioning models in the near future

LG

LG’s Roadmap to Carbon Neutrality by 2030

As part of its Sustainability Report, LG is targeting a 54.6% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 2017 levels.

:To achieve this, the company is

Incorporating high-efficiency equipment

Using renewable energy in manufacturing

Developing energy-saving appliances through its proprietary Core Tech

A standout example of this innovation is LG’s inverter motor technology, which dynamically adjusts motor and compressor speeds to reduce energy waste.

New Inverter Scroll Chiller Uses Lower GWP Refrigerant

LG has also launched an inverter scroll chiller that uses R32 refrigerant, which has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) roughly 30% lower than R410A, reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmentally compliant solutions.

LG

LG’s Commitment to Sustainable HVAC Solutions

“The new material and manufacturing process we’ve introduced for our 4-way system air conditioner underscores our efforts to minimize environmental impacts,” said Bae Cheung-hyun, Head of the System Air Conditioners Business at LG Electronics.
“LG will continue to leverage innovative technologies to develop eco-conscious air conditioners for a healthier planet.”

Featuring 88 LG OLED Screens, Inaugural Exhibition by Artist TZUSOO

LG Electronics (LG) announces “MMCA×LG OLED Series 2025 – TZUSOO,” the inaugural exhibition of a multi-yea partnership with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA). This forward-looking project explores the creative possibilities at the intersection of art and technology – beginning with a large-scale digital installation by Korean media artist TZUSOO, on view at MMCA Seoul’s iconic Seoul Box from August 1, 2025, through February 1, 2026.

LG

The MMCA×LG OLED Series transforms Seoul Box – a soaring, publicly accessible space at the heart of MMCA – into a dedicated platform for contemporary media art. Each year, the series will present a new work by a leading contemporary artist, with LG as the title sponsor providing technical support to help bring ambitious artistic visions to life.

For the inaugural edition, TZUSOO presents “Agarmon Encyclopedia: Leaked Edition,” a multimedia installation comprising the sculpture “Agarmon” alongside the two-channel video work “The Eight Spirits of Flesh.” Known for her distinct voice rooted in digital-native culture and her explorations of gender and identity, TZUSOO engages themes of life, desire, and generative cycles through a hybrid of organic forms and digital avatars.

The installation is powered by 88 55-inch LG OLED screens, arranged into two towering media walls specifically designed to fill the Seoul Box space. With perfect blacks and vivid colors, LG OLED displays enhance the visual intensity of “The Eight Spirits of Flesh,” immersing viewers in a world where digital creatures shift and interact across screens. The scale and technical sophistication of the installation mark a significant moment for media art at MMCA – and underscore LG OLED’s digital canvas as a powerful and creative medium.

“It’s an honor to support the first of many exhibitions of the MMCA×LG OLED Series by helping bring the artist’s bold visual experiment to life through the immersive power of our LG OLED technology,” said Kate Oh, head of Experiential Marketing at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “We hope this series offers audiences a deeper, more sensory experience of contemporary art and expands the possibilities for how it can be expressed and appreciated by art enthusiasts on a digital canvas.”

“As the first artist selected for the MMCA×LG OLED Series, TZUSOO’s multifaceted spirit of experimentation vividly reflects the creativity and innovation this project aims to foster,” said Kim Sunghee, Director of MMCA. “We look forward to this exhibition introducing new possibilities for contemporary art at the intersection of technology and artistic vision.”

LG LAUNCHES “RADIO OPTIMISM” CAMPAIGN TO SPREAD “LIFE’S GOOD” THROUGH MUSIC

LG Electronics (LG) today launched a new brand campaign, “Radio Optimism,” designed to help strengthen meaningful human connections and spread optimism through shared musical experiences. This initiative aligns with LG’s brand promise, “Life’s Good,” and addresses the growing challenge of forming genuine relationships in a technology-driven world.

LG

The Radio Optimism campaign seeks to counteract the disconnection often felt in an era dominated by superficial interactions, such as likes and comments on social media. By harnessing the power of music, LG aims to foster deeper bonds among individuals, promoting a more fulfilling life.

“As technology advances, meaningful human connections become increasingly vital to enrich our lives. LG continues its commitment to bringing optimism into customers’ daily lives, staying true to our enduring brand promise of ‘Life’s Good,’” said Kim Hyo-eun, head of LG’s Brand Management Division.

This campaign reinforces LG’s commitment to creating enriching experiences in digital spaces where today’s consumers spend significant time. Building on this mission, LG has continuously engaged with younger audiences through participatory campaigns that bring the Life’s Good philosophy to life. Last year’s “Optimism your feed” campaign leveraged social algorithms to foster positivity on social media. This new initiative specifically seeks to address the paradoxical disconnection in an era of hyper-connectivity.

“One of the most reliable predictors of happiness is having deep and meaningful relationships,” said Jean M. Twenge, Professor of Psychology at San Diego State University. “Yet today, many people are spending more time online and less time connecting in person. Social media in particular tends to create shallow relationships rather than the deep connections people need. It’s common for people to have hundreds of followers but no one to talk to in real life if they need support. We need to build more meaningful connections with those around us. That might turn around the pronounced decline in happiness that’s occurred over the last decade.”

A new global study* from LG on social connection reveals that 68 percent of people find it harder to make real friends, and a third reported having one or fewer meaningful connections in the past month, with 8 percent experiencing none at all.

Inspired by traditional radio’s unique way of connecting people through music and storytelling, the Radio Optimism campaign transforms this concept into an interactive platform where participants can create and send personalized songs to their loved ones. Users can easily create new songs using AI-powered tools

, which are thoroughly trained on a curated music dataset. These tools interpret user prompts to produce unique musical pieces and generate matching album art, providing an engaging and personalized experience. Once generated, these songs can be sent to recipients to deepen their connection and made available for others to discover worldwide.

According to the survey, nearly 9 in 10 respondents believe that meaningful connections lead to a more optimistic outlook on life. By providing a platform for individuals to express their feelings, this campaign aims to foster deeper connections and help individuals enrich their lives while spreading optimism in their own ways.

The campaign website is available in English and Spanish, with plans to support additional languages in the coming months to enable broader participation. The official website can be found at RadioOptimism.lg.com. More details can be found on www.lg.com/lifesgood/.
