Plug Expands EV Charging Network Across Egypt’s Premium Residential Compounds

 Plug, a leading developer of electric vehicle (EV) chargers and a subsidiary of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with PRE Group. This landmark agreement authorizes Plug to install and operate smart EV chargers throughout the Stone Residence residential compound, effectively accelerating the deployment of accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure for all Stone Residence residents. The chargers will be accessible for all Stone Residence residents.

Plug will install its charging stations within the compound’s shared parking areas (parcels). However, Plug is also fully prepared to fulfill individual homeowner requests to install a dedicated personal charging device directly at their homes.

The installed smart chargers support AC and DC charging and offer seamless remote management capabilities. Customers receive full local support, including comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales services.

Plug offers a comprehensive EV charging portfolio to meet diverse residential and commercial needs across developments nationwide, including AC Chargers ranging from 7.4kW to 22kW, and powerful DC Chargers spanning from 60kW to 180kW. The company also provides specialty solutions such as Portable Chargers in 3/7.4/11kW options, Golf Car & E-Scooter Chargers (Schuko Socket Type C), and Battery Swapping Stations.

Additionally, Plug supplies essential accessories like Charging Cables (5m single/three-phase) and the centralized CMS (Charging Management System) for smooth management.
