LG Launches 2025 QNED evo TVs With Advanced Visual Technology and AI-Enhanced Personalized Experience

LG Electronics (LG) is rolling out its 2025 QNED evo lineup, reinforcing its presence in the premium LCD TV segment.

The AI Object Enhancer identifies and enhances faces, bodies and key scene elements for greater detail and naturalism. Special Group and Mint Real Estate Asset Management Launch “40 Square”

During a press conference held at the Nile Ritz Carlton Hotel, Special Group for Trade & Investment and Mint Real Estate Asset Management announced the launch of 40 Square, a new residential development in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

The announcement follows a strategic agreement signed in March, under which Mint will manage all Special Group’s real estate assets, beginning with this flagship project.

Located in Residential Investors District, 40 Square spans 40 acres in a well-connected area near the Green River Park, the government district, and other major infrastructure.

The development features smart residential units, generous open spaces, and integrated services designed around long-term livability and functionality.

The project includes a mix of apartments offerings, totaling approximately 1477 units. The first phase is scheduled for completion in 2026, with total investments for the project expected to exceed 7 billion EGP.

This marks Special Group’s first foray into real estate development, building on its longstanding expertise in construction, infrastructure, and service delivery. The move reflects a shift toward longer-term value creation across the Group’s asset base.

As part of its preparations for the 2025 Hajj season, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has begun issuing Nusuk cards to Tawafa companies in preparation for distribution to pilgrims arriving from across the Islamic world.

In a historic milestone, Mashariq Almasiah – the Tawafa company serving Malaysian pilgrims – became the first to receive and distribute the cards.

The inaugural handover took place during an emotional ceremony held at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, led by Almasiah Chairman Ali Bondagjy, and attended by Malaysian Minister of Hajj, Dato’ Haji Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.

Pilgrims were handed their Nusuk cards at the airport just before their departure to the Kingdom to perform Hajj.

The Malaysian Minister praised the continuous advancements made by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in serving pilgrims, expressing his gratitude to Almasiah for its dedication and responsiveness since the beginning of its service contract with Malaysia.

He voiced confidence that the 2025 Hajj season will see exceptional services delivered to Malaysian pilgrims, thanks to Almasiah’s efficiency and deep commitment to pilgrim welfare.

Chairman Ali Bondagjy described the Nusuk card as one of the smart, regulatory tools introduced by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to improve service delivery and field operations for registered pilgrims.

The card is designed to enhance the overall Hajj experience — from the moment of arrival until the completion of rituals.

Bondagjy extended his thanks to the Government of Saudi Arabia for its relentless efforts in serving the Guests of Allah and commended the Ministry’s ongoing innovation in the sector.

Free Dental Treatments to 3 million patients across all governorates till 2027
Haleon, maker of Sensodyne, has partnered with the Egyptian Dental Association and FDI World Dental Federation to launch the “Sensodyne Smile Bank” initiative. The 3-year program will deliver free dental checkups and treatments to 1 million Egyptians annually through 2027, enhancing oral health accessibility across the nation.

 

: Haleon, a global leader in consumer health, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding with the Egyptian Dental Association to launch the “Sensodyne Smile Bank” initiative.

Over the next three years, the initiative will deploy dental convoys across all governorates, providing free dental check-ups and treatments to three million citizens in need. Also, in collaboration with the FDI World Dental Federation and Egyptian universities, awareness campaigns on oral hygiene will be conducted, and medical education programs will be developed for young dentists. Additionally, the campaign encourages Egyptians to share their smiles on social media using the hashtag #سنسوداين_إبتسامتك_دوا_لأي_حساسية with each post supporting people who most need care.

 

 


Prof. Tarek Abbas – President of the Egyptian Dental Association said: “One of our main goals during Smile Bank initiative is to promote preventive oral health care to improve patients’ wellbeing. Through this partnership with Haleon, our efforts will not be limited to treating patients, we will provide training programs to junior dentists and use this opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of oral dental hygiene routines and the best practices to avoid teeth sensitivity.”

Dr. Nahawand Thabet consultant in dentistry and the African representative of the World Dental Federation (FDI) council said: “Oral diseases affect roughly 3 billion people globally, yet they are largely preventable with the right oral hygiene habits. In Egypt, oral health remains a challenge, with 3 out of 5 people suffering from tooth sensitivity and 1 in 3 experience gum bleeding during routine brushing. Despite this, the toothpaste penetration stands at only 60%. Through this collaboration, we are pleased to bring attention to the importance of oral hygiene, empowering Egyptians and young dentists with Haleon’s support.”

OPPO is proud to celebrate a key milestone in the journey of TheMakerXOPPODreamLeague, a nationwide scouting initiative aimed at empowering young football talent across Egypt. Between February 15 and April 17, 2025, TheMakerXOPPODreamLeague reached 53 schools across 10 different locations, engaging with more than 159 teams and culminating in an extraordinary final event that showcased the immense talent discovered throughout the campaign.

 

The program successfully identified 47 teams that advanced to the finals, demonstrating the high level of competition and the depth of skill emerging from Egypt’s youth. In addition, three open scouting trials attracted over 324 individual players, each assessed for their talent and potential to make a significant impact in the world of football.

The goal is to equip these young talents with the tools and resources needed to pursue a professional football career—with the ambition of one day becoming international players.
