Majid Al Futtaim, a leading pioneer in shopping malls, communities, retail, and leisure across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, marked Orphans’ Day for the third consecutive year across its malls in Egypt. This year’s celebration expanded its reach to include children battling cancer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility and inclusive community support.
Partnerships with Local NGOs
The initiative was organized in collaboration with local NGOs including Shabab Masryin, Al Balsam Al Shafi, and Jeel Al Amal Associations. Together, they welcomed 350 children across four major destinations: Mall of Egypt, City Centre Alexandria, City Centre Almaza, and City Centre Maadi.
A Day Full of Entertainment and Joy
Children experienced a wide range of curated activities designed to create happiness and lasting memories, including:

Adventure challenges at Gravity Code
The event focused on delivering joy, emotional support, and unforgettable experiences for all participating children.
Food and Brand Contributions
A variety of food offerings were provided across all malls with support from tenant partners such as:
Carrefour, Buffalo Burger, McDonald’s, Tarbosh, Papa John’s, Country Hills, Ebn El Balad, La Poire, Caribou, Labash, iFruit, and Cinnabon.
Additional giveaways, including clothing and footwear, were donated by:
Funny Ride, Seven Secrets, ElKady Jewelry, Shousha, and Fouad Ahmed Jewelry, enhancing the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
