Criteria Design Group won the contract following a strong competition with several prominent engineering offices in a company-held competition focused on innovative and sustainable designs.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Mohamed Shalaby, CEO and Managing Director of SUD stated that the company is committed to delivering innovative real estate products distinguished by modern design and high quality, in line with market trends and evolving customer needs, while also aligning with global development standards.

He pointed out that Criteria Design Group will be responsible for designing the commercial area of The Pearl Compound in New Mansoura, which spans over 60 acres. The compound features a mix of residential buildings and villas, a 550-meter beachfront, a clubhouse, and a collection of commercial malls.

Shalaby added that this collaboration strengthens the company’s future expansion plans and supports the implementation of the latest urban planning and sustainable design standards across its upcoming projects, while providing added value to clients.

In Obour City, the company is developing the High City Compound, with the first phase already delivered, in addition to the High City Mall project, which spans 18,000 sqm.

Safwa Urban Development (SUD) unveiled its major accomplishments in 2024, marking a year of strong achievements that reinforce its expansion and investment strategy for 2025.

Mohamed Shalaby, CEO and Managing Director of SUD, highlighted that the company’s investment plan for the current year includes significant investments to accelerate construction rates and ensure timely project deliveries.

 

Shalaby said that the SUD plans to inject EGP 5bn into construction in 2025, compared to EGP 4bn last year, reflecting a rapid pace of development across all its projects.

He added that the company achieved strong sales across all its projects last year, selling 100,000 sqm, including various unit types. This year, SUD aims to achieve sales of EGP 7bn, supported by an ambitious plan to launch new projects.

 

He also highlighted that the company’s total land portfolio amounts to 2 million sqm, noted that SUD has ambitious plans to develop this substantial portfolio, aligning with the state’s comprehensive urban development strategy and delivering landmark projects across Egypt.

 

He emphasized that the company funds its projects through self-financing.

He further pointed out, “SUD is one of Egypt’s leading urban development companies, with a diverse portfolio of projects that have earned it a prestigious position among top developers. Since its inception in 1996, the company has successfully developed 25 projects across various governorates, including advanced residential communities, commercial centers, tourist resorts, medical, educational, and sports projects—all blending modernity with authenticity.”

ولم تتواني الصفوة للتطوير العمراني، عن مواكبة توجهات الدولة المختلفة، حيث كانت أولى الكيانات التي بادرت بالمشاركة

في مبادرة التمويل العقاري والتي أطلقها البنك المركزي بهدف تسهيل عملية شراء الوحدات السكنية وإنعاش السوق العقاري

بالتعاون مع بنوك ذات خبرة وإمكانيات متطورة، حيث وقعت الشركة بروتوكول تعاون للتمويل العقاري مع بنك SAIB لتنفيذ هذه

بنك الاستثمار العربى

 

بينما وقعت الشركة بروتوكول تعاون مع بنك الاستثمار العربى لتمويل العملاء الراغبين فى شراء وحدات سكنية تابعة لها وفق

شروط مبادرة التمويل العقارى الصادرة عن البنك المركزى المصرى لمتوسطى الدخل، بالتقسيط لمدة تصل إلى 20 عامَا،

لتوفير مسكن مناسب لكل فئات المجتمع، وتتركز المبادرة فى 3 مشروعات مملوكة للصفوة، الأول هو «هاى سيتى» بمدينة

العبور والذي تم تسليم المرحلة الأولى منه خلال الحفل، والمشروع الثانى هو «صن ست 3» بمدينة رأس البر وهو مشروع

سكنى مواجه لنهر النيل، ويتكون من 1500 وحده سكنية على مساحة 35 فدانًا بوحدات كاملة التشطيب تبدأ من 60 مترًا

مربعًا، وأيضًا قامت الشركة بالبدء بعملية تسليم العملاء مع منتصف عام 2021.
وبالنسبة للمشروع الثالث فهو «صن ست 2» بمدينة دمياط الجديدة بمنطقة الشاليهات على الطريق الدولى الساحلى، وهو

مشروع سكنى يتكون من 120 وحدة سكنية و11 فيلا منفصلة على مساحة 25 ألف متر مربع لوحدات تبدأ من 132 مترًا مربعًا، بينما قد قامت الشركة بتسليم المشروع للعملاء المتعاقدين فى عام 2019 .

بينما أمتد دور الشركة لمجالات متعدده منها المجال التعليمي والذي تمثل في انشاء وتشغيل مدارس الصفوة الدولية،
