Central Bank of Egypt Reports USD 25.6 Billion in Remittances for FY 2025/2026, 28.4% Increase

a significant rise during the first seven months of the fiscal year 2025/2026 These remittances

amounted to approximately USD 25.6 billion, marking an impressive 28.4% increase compared

to the same period in FY 2024/2025, when remittances totaled about USD 20.0 billion

On a monthly basis, remittances from Egyptians working abroad grew by 21.0% in

January 2026, reaching nearly USD 3.5 billion This represents an increase from

USD 2.9 billion in January 2025
