Across seven episodes, the series narrates each landmark’s story through the perspectives

of renowned architects and designers, including Waleed Arafa, Ikram Mounir Nosshi, Ramses

Ikram Nosshi, Sherif Morgan, Youssef Ragheb, Alaa El Habashi, and Omniya Abdel Barr TLS

emphasizes the importance of sustainability, functionality, community engagement, and

cultural preservation in contemporary Egyptian architecture and design

Launch Event: An Immersive Experience

The program’s launch event took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Villa M in Zamalek

proudly powered by MARAKEZ Co-curated by Ramzi Makram-Ebeid and Malak Shenouda, the

exhibition highlighted each landmark’s historical and modern significance through photography

by Yehia El-Alaily and Essam Arafa, alongside carefully selected archival materials

The event offered an immersive, multi-sensory experience, celebrating Egypt’s creativity across

architecture, art, culture, and cuisine It also featured panel discussions with leading architects

moderated by Sarah Sarofim, providing insights into the role of design in shaping community

and preserving cultural heritage
