LMD’s Cairo Design District (CDD) Becomes First New Cairo Venue for Cairo Photo Week 2025
As Gold Sponsor, CDD by LMD Hosts Debut On-Site Exhibition, Bringing Egypt’s Leading Photography Festival to New Creative Grounds

Landmark Developments (LMD), one of the premier real estate developers, specializing in creating transformative residential and commercial experiences, is proud to announce that Cairo Design District (CDD), Egypt’s first design-focused destination, is the Gold Sponsor of the fourth edition of Cairo Photo Week 2025. The event will take place across 18 downtown Cairo venues from May 8–18, under the theme “Finding the View.

” For the first time in the festival’s history, Cairo Photo Week will expand to New Cairo, with CDD serving as the only official host venue beyond Downtown, running its own on-site exhibition from May 5–16.

As part of the official program, CDD will host exclusive photography exhibitions and cultural activations, including a showcase by cinematographer Abdel Salam Mousa and photographer Coucla Refaat, alongside a rich schedule of talks and panel discussions. The lineup includes a curated panel led by Daniel Rodríguez (Photo Vogue collaborator), featuring prominent Egyptian photographers Abdallah Sabry, Bassam Allam, and Amr Ezzeldinn. The program continues with talks by Ahmed Hayman, Coucla Refaat, and acclaimed fashion photographer Vincent van de Wijngaard, culminating in a community closing night.

Cairo Photo Week 2025 will feature 100+ educational activities, including workshops, talks, portfolio reviews, and networking events. With 90+ iconic speakers and mentors from across Egypt, the U.S., the UK, Europe, and the Arab region.
